Savour Stratford is one of my favourite culinary adventures that I partake in each year, and this year was no different as a fantastic time was had. Friends, food, drinks, one of my favourite Ontario towns, what could be bad? I decided to start off posting some of the great photos from the weekend, so you can see through my ideas what a wonderful time we all had, and can put it on your calendar for next year. I'm also going to follow up with another post or two about that tasting and educational events I attended.

You can read here about my experience from last year.

The view of the Slow Food market, and the main tasting tent on the right.

We had perfect weather all weekend, unseasonally hot.

Danielle Broadhagen from the Stratford Tourism Alliance, and Fred de Martines of Perth Pork Products.

I get most of my pork from Fred, and if you havent tried it you really should. He is also a great guy!

Lots of food options, and proceeds to charity!

David Ort, of Food With Legs, talking honey with a local producer

Had never actually seens someone selling Crab Apples at a market before.

Note to self: make dehydrated garlic chips.

One of our favourite farmers, Antony John of Soiled Reputation.

You never know who you will see in Stratford. We bumped in to Francisco and Andreea from Aguacave, at Simple Fish and Chips. I cant visit Stratford without a visit to Simple for some sustainable fish and chips.

Francisco was there to compete in an Iron Chef style competiton, and won.

Lobster Slider from Simple.

Halibut and Chips. So good!

That's all for now, but stay tuned for the next post. Thanks, as always, to the great people of Stratford for inviting us up and showing us a great time.

I missed the Savour Stratford Fest this year! But your photos took me back to last year's when I had such a good time! The folks at Rundles were so very nice to us! Even my 4-year-old little foodie enjoyed the event quite tremendously. We are hoping not to miss it next year!!
